What's New for Grantmakers | June 2026

We have a big summer update for you — we've completely rebuilt the onboarding experience for nonprofits joining Chariot, which means your grantees are getting set up faster and with less friction than ever before.

Here's what's new:

• A better onboarding experience for your grantees: We've redesigned the Chariot onboarding flow from the ground up. When you invite a nonprofit to receive disbursements through Chariot, they'll move through a faster, cleaner setup process — less back-and-forth, fewer onboarding drop-offs, and a smoother path to receiving their first electronic payment from you.
• Specify a secondary recipient when sending disbursements: When creating a disbursement, you can now enter a secondary recipient name to indicate which project or program the grant is intended for. That name flows through to the donation record as a secondary recipient to accommodate fiscal sponsor programs or other designations.
• The DAF Day Giving Page is live: Donors can now discover and give to nonprofits at app.dafday.com — and we want to make sure your donors know about it. Download the DAF Day marketing toolkit for providers to get your promotion started early.
