A new sandbox to explore the platform, smarter policies, a new workplace giving source, and more in our October roundup of new features and updates.
Here's what's new:

- Create a demo account: In your Chariot account, you can now create a separate test demo account, called a “sandbox,” where you can explore features and practice making changes on sample data without touching your live donation data. To get started, click your account name in the bottom left corner and select Create Sandbox. Sandboxes are available to everyone, and each user on your team can create their own!
- New default payment sources: You'll now receive electronic grant payments from Adair Family Foundation and Legacy Alive Foundation in your Chariot account.
- Adair Family Foundation, based in Dallas, Texas, seeks to share the love of Christ by supporting local churches and initiatives serving those in need in its city, across the country, and around the world.
- Legacy Alive Foundation, also based in Texas, is dedicated to equipping followers of Christ to build legacies rooted in faith by teaching practical ways to balance work, play, and worship, with God at the center.
- DAFpay on more fundraising platforms: DAFpay is now available on Donorbox, haku, and Bloomerang fundraising forms. Check out all the fundraising platforms we integrate with so you can add DAFpay to your donation forms ahead of giving season.
New for paid subscribers:

- Connect Bright Funds to your Chariot account: You can now link Bright Funds as a payment source and receive your workplace giving gifts electronically, with donation data attached.
- Policies, buttoned up for giving season:
- Policy run summaries: the summary on each donation breaks down each rule, shows the value it set, and explains why a rule didn't set anything. You can also click any field a policy updated in the activity log to see exactly why it changed.
- Policy assistant: when a policy sets something unexpected or fails to set a value, a new button on the donation's Policies tab copies the run details into the policy editor, where the assistant pinpoints which rule caused it and suggests a fix. The Policy assistant can also now catch references to fields or options that don't exist and suggest simpler, more reliable ways to structure your rules.
- Automatic re-runs: Policies now re-run automatically after an error is fixed.
- Fundraiser assignments and appeals from Raiser's Edge NXT: Policies that use our Raiser's Edge NXT integration can now look up a constituent's active fundraiser assignments (including type, amounts, dates, linked campaigns, and portfolio managers) and constituent-level appeals directly from RE, so you no longer need to keep that data current with manual CSV uploads.
